Ed Moore

Ed Moore, the founder of The Moore Law Firm, was born in Perryton, Texas, but grew up in Dallas. He graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, with a BBA degree, and from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. Ed was the 2004 recipient of the "Equal Justice Award" given by Texas Wesleyan University School of Law for having donated the most pro bono hours of free legal assistance in Dallas, Tarrant and Denton Counties.

As a former Dallas Police Officer, Ed received a Life Saving award in recognition of his efforts that saved the lives of three individuals from a burning building. He was also recognized by the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce as the winner of the "Johnny Sides Rookie of The Year" award for his overall performance in the field.

Ed has extensive experience in real estate, business start-up, and the hospitality industry, including the restaurant business as well as the oil and gas industry in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

Ed also holds United States Patent No. 5,351,909. Ed has volunteered his time with North West Texas Legal Aid, as well as the Dallas County Public Defender's Office.

Ed is a member of the Dallas, Plano and American Bar Associations, as well as the Association of Trail Lawyers of America.

Patricia Dormire

With over 27 years experience in civil litigation matters, Patricia Dormire, a superior Paralegal, has excelled in every aspect of this practice.  Throughout her career, Pat has gained extensive experience in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, workers compensation and class-action suits  in various states (as a result of following her husband’s career).  And, now back in Dallas after 20 years, she continues to dedicate herself to preserving the rights of individuals who have been injured as a result of somebody else’s negligence.  Ms. Dormire , who is bilingual, also receives great satisfaction in assisting the Spanish-speaking clientele of the Moore Law Firm.

Chirlyn Scroggins

Chirlyn Scroggins is an outstanding Paralegal with a reputation for being a person who is not only concerned for her clients' welfare, but genuinely interested in helping each individual through what can sometimes be a difficult time.

Ms. Scroggins has over 25 years of experience in helping people through law. Some people cannot speak for themselves; they need a dedicated individual like Chirlyn to help tell their story so they will receive a measure of justice and the compensation they are entitled to.

Ted Downing

Ted Downing has been honing his craft for over five years. Ted concentrates on communication with the medical community and often prepares exhibits and illustrations for courtroom presentation in both digital and electronic format.

Ted will also assist in the investigation of your case, whether the situation calls for an in-person or telephone interview, or even an interview using sign language.

Linda Lacy
